God loved us first…..

Greater Love
 ****

Christian …

Christian was  originally purchased by Australians John Rendall and Anthony “Ace” Bourke from Harrods department store of LondonEngland, in 1969 and ultimately reintroduced to theAfrican wild by conservationist George Adamson. One year after Adamson released Christian to the wild, his former owners decided to go looking for him to see whether Christian would remember them. He did, and with him were two lionesses who accepted the men as well.

Do you remember a Story similar to this picture?  About Christian the lion cub?
Amazing love shown by a wild animal –
when he remembered that he had been hand raised by humans years before.

How can we ever compare this  to God’s amazing ‘Love’ for us?

One of the Fruit of the Spirit is LOVE.
The 9 characteristics mentioned in  Galatians 5 :22-23
– as the Fruit of the Spirit cannot be separated.
LOVE comes first- and rightly so, because it is the ground for righteousness.
When love comes into it then the others will appear in your life.

The  LOVE of God draws people to Him like a magnet –
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.”  Jeremiah 31:3
and“We love Him – because He  first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

It is the demonstration of God’s love that motivates men and women to love Him back.

“Such  love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.
If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment,
and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love.”
1 John 4:18

The word used here is an “Agape” love- which means God’s love is -an “unconditional love”.

Thank you Lord for your love – for us every day.

God Bless you this Sabbath.
