Marriage is a LOVE relationship
that should provide
an ideal atmosphere with
positive and wholesome attitudes towards each other.
A Christian home is an ideal place for family members to grow-;
We learn lessons in ‘kindness; sympathy; forbearance;
forgiveness and how to live in harmony.’
A family with these values has Christ in their lives,
They are an example to the community-
and even point others to Jesus.
The strongest witness-
is the consistent testimony of a Christ centered
partnership /relationship as husband and wife.
God’s plan is for our homes
to be a little bit of heaven on earth.
Growing and nurturing a marriage
of life long friendship takes a lot of work-
It takes commitment, determination, time and sacrifice.
Next to our relationship with God-
it is our most demanding endeavor.
May we be able to say to our spouse-
“This is my beloved – and this is my friend.”
Song of Solomon 5:16
“So then- they are no longer two but one flesh.”…..
May God bless you in your Marriage – Make God the Head of your home.
( Thank God – for seven years of our marriage today. )
Every manifestation of Creation –
is an expression of God’s infinite Love.
Whether it is a newborn baby or a galaxy of stars.
After the Bible- ‘Creation’ is God’s book of nature.
Life is Love; Life is sacred and Life is spiritual-
Thank and Praise God for His wonderful creation.
From Him comes every intellectual and artistic talent.
Every emotional capacity- every gift of grace and love.
He brought life into existence.
‘Life’ breathed into all of us by a loving Creator,
has an awe and grandeur beyond comprehension.
Praise Him for His creative powers –
After Creation of the Human Race –
“Then God saw everything that He had made,
and indeed it was very good.
So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1 : 31
Then on the Seventh Day – God rested from His work –
He Blessed and Sanctified this Day- and called it His Holy Sabbath Day.
Spend time in God’s nature – and have a Blessed Sabbath.
“For the beauty of the earth- For the glory of the skies;
For the love which from our birth – Over and around us lies-
Lord of all to Thee we raise- Our grateful song of praise.”
“For the gift of Thy dear Son; For the hope of heaven at last-
For the Spirits victory won; For the crown when life is past;
Lord of all to Thee we raise- Our songs of gratitude and praise”.
Folliott S. Pierpoint
“Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him;
and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Isaiah 55 : 7
Habits – are more easily uprooted before they become deep rooted.
Benjamin Franklin once said- “The chains of habit
are often too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken.”
Make the best of today- By making good decisions –
A time for change in our habits.
We must want to change our ‘bad’ habits-
Deciding to stop – and asking God to help us
to be true to our decisions
and ask for His power to overcome.
God has given us the power to ‘choose’-
Let us choose to serve Him- Give Him our will-
and He will work in us according to His good pleasure.
Every day is a ‘New Day’ –
A chance to change for the better – so give yourself-
your plans – and your time to God.
Your thoughts are not His thoughts –
and your best laid plans may be not what He has planned for you.
Have a Blessed day with the Lord -TODAY.

Walk in a worthy way —
Someone has said that we talk more by our WALK than in any other way.
In his Letter to the Ephesians – Paul speaks of the different ways to walk.
(Eph. 2:2) The walk of disobedience –
characterizes the natural man in a state of rebellion against God.
When Christ was here on earth-
He commanded the winds and the waves to be still and it obeyed-
But some of the people Jesus spoke to- did not obey.
v 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world
and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air,
the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
(Eph. 4:1) This verse speaks of the walk worthy of our spiritual life.
As a Christian to be an ambassador of Christ and a winner of souls.
v 1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then,
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
(Eph. 5:2) This walk is that of “LOVE”. It is one of the Fruit of the Spirit.
Walking in love is walking with God -for God is love.
v 2 And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us
and gave himself up for us
as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God
(Eph. 4:17) Walk not as others do –
Too often we are influenced rather than exerting an influence.
God expects us to walk differently – to the world.
v 17.So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord,
that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do,
in the futility of their thinking.
(Eph. 5:8) We are to walk as children of the light –
following God’s Word in all things.
v 8 For you were once in darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord.
Live as children of light
(Eph. 2:10) A walk of good works –
resulting from Christ living out His life within us.
v 10 For we are God’s handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
May God help me / you to walk worthy of our vocation –

What does it mean to wait upon the Lord?
– It is to enter into a trust relationship with God.
It is to – rest in Him and surrender our will to Him. —
We can have complete confidence in Him
We trust Him on the basis of our personal acquaintances with Him;
The promises of His Word and past experiences with Him.
“We have nothing to fear for the future,
except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us….
and His teachings in our past history.” (Life Sketches p 296)
Prayer is having a relationship – our waiting time in contact with God.
Making that time to talk and listen to God.
Be willing to wait on the Lord-
To listen to His still small voice- to lead and direct our lives.
Do not run before Him- He has a plan for you and me.
To say – Not my will, but Thine be done.
This is a wonderful promise-
“But those who WAIT on the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles –
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint”.
Isaiah 40 : 31
Actually – This caption should read-
I want to WALK with Jesus- Let Him lead so I will follow.
“For this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that you should Follow His Steps.”
1 Peter 2 : 21
Many feel it would be a privilege to visit the places
where Jesus spent His time on earth. To walk where He trod;
To look upon the lake where He loved to teach;
To walk in the hills and valleys where He walked,
talked and healed the crowds that followed Him.
But we need not go to Galilee – Nazareth – or Bethany –
in order to walk in the steps of Jesus.
We can see His footprints beside a sickbed:
In places of poverty and homelessness:
and in the alleyways of the great Cities,
and every place where there are human hearts in need of consolation.
In following what Jesus did here on earth-,
we can “walk in His footsteps”.
There is nothing more powerful than our individual example.
The way we live our daily lives, our conduct and actions.
I will follow Him
Follow Him where ever he may go
And near Him I always will be
For nothing can keep me away- He is my destiny –
I will follow Him,
Ever since He touched my heart, I knew
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep me away, away from His love.
And where He goes I’ll follow,
I will follow Him, follow Him where ever He may go.
We should exhibit- His LOVE in our lives,
-regardless of the tragedies and problems we are going through.
( Don’t get me wrong – I am not against visiting the Holy Lands.
It must be awesome-. But Christ really wants me-
to reveal to others what He has done for me. )
Christ is the Prince of PEACE
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on You,
because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26 : 3
Peace of mind is one of the most
sough after qualities in the world today.
People’s hearts are like the troubled sea – that cannot find rest.
As long as we maintain our source with Jesus –
we can have His PEACE.
Just as a river has a source – so has peace;
And as a river has a channel – so has peace.
To experience His peace we have to trust and obey Him.
Christ is that Channel.
“Many who profess to be His followers,
have an anxious, troubled heart
because they are afraid to trust God; or surrender to Him.
They shrink from the consequence that this surrender involves-
Until one is willing to make this surrender one cannot find PEACE.”
(Desire of Ages p 330)
When the Holy Spirit comes into our lives.
It brings-Love; Joy and Peace.
