Women – of God’s Calling….

The last 2 weeks I have focused my thoughts around – “Christ like WOMEN”-
Chosen by God for a special purpose. It makes me feel special.
God has used women in the Bible for so much good-
.As examples – with special roles as I have mentioned.

Be honored women – Proverbs 31 speaks of a “Model Woman” –
It also comes with responsibility

 It describes the qualities of God’s Beautiful woman;
Her price is greater than Rubies
It speaks of  Gracious, Blessed,  Women called by God.
( I have  included some of them this week)

I encourage you to read – Proverbs 31.
This is what God wants from a woman-

– She does her husband good.  –  She is industrious. –  Generous.
– Home keeper and  a reliable  Mother, – She  helps the needy.
– She is honorable, wise and kind.-
-She looks to the future. making preparation.

“A Virtuous Woman” – of Proverbs- 31…

Joy of your Lord                                              ****

“Who can find a virtuous woman?
For her price is far above rubies.”
Proverbs 31 : 10

She is more than a godly woman or the ideal wife.
There is good reason to think that
‘the virtuous woman” represents –Wisdom.

Wisdom is not pictured as some lofty
and unreachable ideal but as a
practical woman through a beautiful poem- .

1. She is precious and worth finding. {Prov. 31:10. 8:35}
2. Her worth is more than rubies. {Prov, 8: 10,11,18,19}
3. She provides food. {Prov 31:17,25: 8:14}
4. She is strong. {Prov. 31: 17, 25 ;  8:14}
5. She is wise.{Prov. 31:26, 8:1}
6. She is praised. {Prov. 31;28, 8:34}

She is not lazy,- she works hard –
She is active and works with her hands.
She is shown as an effective and
a productive woman-
like Martha of the Gospels

She Cares-
She is known for her wisdom and kindness.
Her true beauty is found in her character-
made manifest  in her life and works.
Beauty will always pass away-
‘Character,- can endure forever.

Revelation 14:13-.
“Blessed are the dead which
die in the Lord from henceforth;
yea, said the spirit,
that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them.”

May God Bless & Keep Us Women.

Wishing you a HAPPY SABBATH!

God’s Amazing GRACE.- It is available and it is free for the taking.

For it is by GRACE you have been saved, -through Faith-
not by yourselves, nit is the GIFT of God…….”.
Ephesians 2: V 8-9.

John Newton, slave trader, preacher, poet,
one of the greatest trophies of grace ever won.
His life truly manifested that
“God moves in a mysterious way,
His wonders to perform.”

From disgrace to “Amazing Grace”;  when he wrote this Hymn_

Amazing grace!- how sweet the sound
That sav’d a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ’d!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis’d good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call’d me here below,
Will be forever mine.

Amazing Grace  –
it is more likely to be based on – Ephesians 2:4-9,
Paul’s great treatise on Grace, which says:

But because of His great love for us,  God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even-when we were dead in transgressions –

For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith
– and this not from yourselves,

It is the gift of God –
not by works, so that no one can boast.

“Jesus” – Sets Us FREE…

great god                                                &&&

“Therefore, if any man is in CHRIST,
he is a new creature;
the old things have passed away;
behold, new things have  come.”
2 Corinthians 5 : 17

When Jesus dwells in our hearts –
He reveals to us
our true and often
erratic feelings and attitudes.

Jesus sets us free –
not only from wrong attitudes,
but from things that enslaves us.

Jesus said – “If you abide in My Word,
then you are truly  disciples of Mine:
and you shall know the
and the TRUTH shall set you free.”
{John 8: 31-36}

Prayer – changes us.
We behold the glory of Jesus –
and his glory in our hearts
transforms us into His likeness.
As we commune with Him
we get to know Him,
and trust Him- and this leads us
to ask Him to take control of our
thoughts; motives; and actions.

Pray for renewed hope and determination
-and it will transform us
into the likeness of CHRIST.

He can transform our lives.

Wishing you a Blessed Sabbath.

“No Strings Attached..”

seek the lord

Jesus replied- ” Very truly, I tell you,
everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
John 8 : 34

“The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him,
the cords of his sin holds him fast.”
Proverbs 5 : 22

But there is hope and light at the end
of the tunnel as God offers a way of escape:.
a way to cut those strings completely and
be free from slavery and bondage to sin.

“So if the Son sets you free,
you will be free indeed.”
John 8 : 36

“But you belong to God, my dear children.
You have already won a victory over those people,
because the Spirit who lives in you
is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”
1 John 4:4m>

The Bible says that the devil compels
us to do his will,
thus taking away our free will.
The devil is trapping  ordinary people
and they may not realize the full scope
of their actions but they willingly allow him to do so.

When Jesus died on the cross-
He was providing every human with
the opportunity the freedom from sin-
By offering to cut the cords and strings
that tethered us to Satan, sin,
temptation and human desires.

We have true freedom in Jesus...
