Southeast Queensland Camp – September 2015
“For God so loved the world
– that He sent His only Son –
that whoever believes in Him, should not perish
but have everlasting life.” John 3 : 16
When we feel overwhelmed by the countless decisions we have to make,
we have to make sure we put God first in our lives.
When we put God first- He has a marvelous way
of preventing and solving problems and providing all
the things essential to our well-being.
In our present materialistic age
we face a real danger that we will reverse our priorities-
and fall into the trap of seeking the things of the world first
and spiritual considerations secondary.
Some people live as if the Bible says –
Seek all these things first and the kingdom of God will be added to you….
“Our heavenly Father has a thousand ways to provide for our needs-
Those who accept the principle of making God supreme-
will find their concerns and worries vanish-
and a plain path before their feet”‘. (Ministry of Healing, p. 481)
” But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
Pray – for yourselves and your friends – to seek God’s kingdom-
His LOVE has no limits.
I hope Camp 2015 has enriched your lives. Thank you for all the programmes ..

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15 : 57
The Christian life is a life of warfare,
of continual conflict. It is a battle and a march..
But every act of obedience to Christ,
every act of self denial for His sake,
every trial well endured, every victory gained over temptation,
is a step in the march to the final VICTORY!
Christ Himself has trod the rough pathway
before us and has smoothed the path for our feet.
The narrow path of holiness,
the way cast up for the ransomed of the Lord to walk in-
is illuminated by the ‘Light’ of the world.
The light will shine upon us, and as we reflect the light –
“The glory of Christ”-
the path will grow brighter and
“brighter upon the perfect day.
“We may think it pleasant at first to follow
pride and worldly ambition
but the end is pain and sorrow.
Selfish plans may present flattering promises;
and hold out hope of enjoyment;
but we shall find that our happiness is poisoned;
and our life embittered by hopes that centre in self.
In following Christ- we are safe,
for He will not suffer the powers of darkness
to hurt one hair of our heads;
He will keep that which is committed to His trust;
and we shall be more than conquerors
through Him that loved us.”
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man,
the things which God hath prepared
for them that love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2 : 9
United with the Source of all power,
persevering in duty,
enlarging the need of the love of God in Christ Jesus,
we can become one with Christ-
Complete with Christ in God.
The glories that await the faithful overcomer
are beyond any description.
The Lord will greatly honour
and exalt His faithful ones.
They shall grow like the cedar,
and their comprehension will be certainly increasing.
Our work now is to prepare for those ‘mansions’
that God is preparing for those who love Him
and keep His commandments …
The Lord Jesus will enlarge every mind
and heart for the reception of the Holy Spirit…
Time is short.
Redeem the time that has been lost;
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
Then one will have something to impart in good works,
in cheerful. consecrated influence…
There is an obligation resting upon us
to return the influence and money
that is lent us of the Lord to
advance His cause and glorify His name.
The Lord calls—- “My son / daughter give me thine heart”

“And we are His witnesses of these things;
and so is also the Holy Spirit,
whom God hath given to them that obey Him.”
Acts 5 : 32
When we remember that Christ has paid
the price of His own blood for our redemption-
we will be moved to catch the
bright rays of His righteousness– and shed
them upon the pathway of those around us.
So let us cease to look to ourselves-
but look to Him from whom all virtue comes.
By living faith we must lay hold of
His promise, for He has said
“Though your sins be as scarlet,
they all be white as snow,
though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool.”
We are to be ‘witnesses’ for Christ-
reflecting upon others the light
which the Lord permits to shine upon us.
We are to be faithful soldiers
marching under the banner of Christ.
And be more than conquerors through Him..
