“These things I have spoken to you,
that MY JOY may be in you,
and that your joy may be made full.”
John 15 : 11
We are attracted to people with a joyful positive attitude,
and not so much by those who have a gloomy nature.
So, one can draw or repel people to oneself by ones “attitude”.
Here are three ways to help cultivate a joyful attitude-
1. Promoting self-development.
2. Having a purpose in life.
3. Improve our talents and abilities.
Then we can use them to bless others.
Our first duty towards God and our fellow beings
is that of self-development- Looking unto Jesus.
It is important that we should take time each day
for spiritual, physical, mental and social growth.
People who enjoy a strong sense of self-worth
have a dedication to some cause or purpose.
A potter moulding a lump of clay- centres the clay.
When the clay is in the centrer of the wheel,
he has control of what me is making.
A joyful attitude and having a definite direction
in our lives require careful planning.
Make Jesus the centre of your life –
enabling you to develop and have a purpose in your life.
1 Timothy 4:16
“Be careful about the way you live and about what you teach.
Keep on doing this, and you will save not only yourself,
but the people who hear you.”
